@Flo she eats what we eat at dinner time otherwise she point blank refuses anything. I even made a huge batch of potato tots and stuff and she eats so much but then sees what wee have and wants that. I think it’s because she smells it. We have tried pouches for pure ease and she is going off them. I feel like a failure as a mum.
Are you making these with cows milk or her usual milk?? Maybe try her usual milk & make them super milky (the porridge & weetabix)
Maybe just skip it and do lunch ?? I don’t have set times yet. She had “dinner” yesterday which was solely squashed pumpkin & a few cold baked beans off my nephews plate 😂 she loved it.
As long as they are eating a variety it really doesn't matter what they are eating I do 2 meals a day but it varies which one based on his mood. If she eats what you are eating that's really great keep that up
Also my boy won't eat breakfast too soon after his first bottle I need to wait at least an hour then he's hungry and demolished food could it be that she just isn't hungry yet
My little girl is currently only having coconut yoghurt and mashed fruit at breakfast time, any other food I offer at any time or any other time of day is refused and spat straight back out. Our first 3 weeks of weaning went amazingly and then overnight it just stopped (we now know her first 2 teeth were coming through) I found it really disheartening especially because it seemed like the issue was going from pouches to my food!! Only advice I can give is to just keep going and try to not stress about it, keep offering her the food but if she doesn’t eat it that’s fine, food is just for fun still! We still try something new in the afternoon and usually she just ends up covered in it but has eaten nothing 🤷🏻♀️ it’s all still an experience for them whether they eat or not x
I'm whizzing up blended fruits and veggies in the nutri bullet and feeding my baby that. Some days I add greek yoghurt or milk, others just water. And sometimes I mix it through a bit of ready brek.
@Melissa her usual milk. I’m too scared to use cows milk
@Flo i might try that! X
I need to keep at it! It’s just disheartening!
Does she eat what you offer at dinner time? I don't always do typical breakfast foods at breakfast time sometimes it's left overs from yesterday dinner
