Do you feel like people treated you more like crap during pregnancy than good?

I feel like some ppl have treated me so weird but there are random ppl that have been nice.

Omg people in public were nasty! I was heavily pregnant walking to the checkout and some lady said behind me “I haven’t got all day!” I was gobsmacked. I said “well you better make more time” 🤣 I definitely noticed more rude people when I was pregnant. So inconsiderate. I got to a point where I was being rude back just to make a point.

@Sera Kay same I live in the city so everyone is always rushing there has been a few random ppl that are courteous or give up their seat in public transportation. I think also some ppl can’t tell from behind that your pregnant n get frustrated 😂

Yeah I think she ate crow when I turned around she boot scooted her arse out real fast

Not hard to just walk the fuck around even thinking about these people make me SO annoyed

@Sera Kay yeah lol I’ll hear them sighing. I can imagine for ppl with disabilities having to always deal with that.

Soooo true

Very weird people would tell you v what to eat or drink

People closer to me treated me like an incubator. A means to an end, the end being the baby. Those people have since been cut off.

@Meghan yeah unfortunately the dad of the baby and his mom have made me feel this way.. they haven’t been there at all but want to come around after

Yeah that’s how my mom treated me. She crossed a lot of boundaries and the attitude was insane. She got cut off and will never meet my children. (This is paired with a absolutely fucked history like calling me fat many times over the entire course of my life, saying I should kill myself, etc)

@Meghan wow that’s crazy yeah I wouldn’t want my child around someone like that. & it’s crazy how some ppl feel so entitled just because they’re related to the baby.

Ugh right!! I’ve literally said “your arbitrary title to me and my child means nothing” so many times. If people get upset then that’s their fault. It’s factual. My MiL is crying about not seeing my daughter but it’s not my job to make sure you show up or to invite you over. Simple as that 🤷🏻‍♀️ we’ve never denied letting her see her too!

I was surprised at how many other women treated me so poorly!!! It was always men offering a seat on the tube/bus, or offering to help me. I had so many women (often a lot older. I’m talking grannie) be SO rude to me. Calling me names or shoving me out of the way!

Honestly the thing that stayed in my head is that nobody offered me a sit in public transportation when I was pregnant. Not even at 9 months…

@Francheska oh wow I haven’t experienced that from older women that’s messed up
