Please tell me my child is not the only one that basically doesn’t eat any solids!?

Yes! My baby too. She will not eat anything. We’ve been trying for 2 months now and not much luck. But if I give her finger foods, like u said, she’ll play with them maybe give it one lick and then drop it… it’s a lot harder than I thought it was going to be!
Also - if it reassures you any more, she’s my fourth and we did BLW with the last two and they were exactly the same just didn’t really take off with solids till around 9 months. They’re now 13 and about to turn 9 and they don’t stop eating! 😂 x
My little ones the same. She couldn’t care less. I’m excited if she takes a lick 😂! Tonight she enjoyed frozen yoghurt, took few licks so felt very successful. I’m doing mix BLW and puree. She won’t let me spoon feed at all.
I had to have my son's Dad feed him because he refuses to take a spoon or bottle from me. He's too attached to the boob to take anything else😂 Maybe see if a family member or friend can get her to take a spoon.
Mine was the same till about a week ago, she will now let me spoon feed her and will eat masses up berry’s and melty sticks, getting more adventurous every day 🤞🏼 sort of coincided with her learnjng to crawl!
Yeah Eden looks so offended when anyone puts a spoon near her - she’s more than capable of picking it up and putting it in her mouth but she picks and chooses when she feels like it 😂 These March babies 😅 anyone’s baby feel like high maintenance with their eating, sleeping and neediness? 😂 x
@Cass same ! As soon as my baby sees me, all she sees is boobs! She’s obsessed ! 😂
lol! We are doing BLW - started at six months, Eden turned 8 months on the 1st and still not eating food properly yet 😂 I’m just going with it and hoping for the best - she wont survive off licks and nibbles forever! As long as they’re still having their milk they’ll be fine :) food for first year isn’t as important as their milk :) x
