Is your family from a specific region in America? Thanksgiving has a wide variety of foods that are traditional in each region. I'd ask them for what they traditionally have and then go from there. For us thanksgiving needs a bird (we like chicken), mashed potatoes, green peas, gravy, corn casserole, yeast rolls, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, stuffing/dressing and pumpkin pie with fresh whipped cream.

I don't really know how to make Mac and cheese properly and the one time I did I was in a abuse relationship where I made it for him and he smashed the plate and threw it in the bin😔
This is my Thanksgiving menu. I separate it by the oven temperature in Fahrenheit. I have dairy, nut, and soy allergies in my family to accommodate which is why I make 2 versions of some of the dishes. I also included the items my Mom bring. My husband does the turkey and Gravy and I do all the sides. I also included some of my favorite recipes for you.
I will look to make the carrots, potato salad, turkey, Mac and cheese (2nd attempt) greens, I will buy cranberry sauce I will look at the link sent earlier to make the sweet potato pie 🥧
We always make Deviled Eggs, Green Beans Casserole, Cranberry Sauce, Seven Layered Salad and Pumpkin Pie. These are recipes that have been passed down from mine and my husband's family.
