Reflux

I took my baby to the doctor for a follow up and was told she may have reflux. I was told to sit her up for 20-30 min after eating and when she sleeps to swaddle her and make sure her head is sideways incase she spits up and chokes . She also spits up sometimes while being bottle fed or breastfed. Also I’m not sure if it’s normal but when I burp her she gets fussy and cries ??? She has a physical tomorrow with her regular doctor and I was told that if she continues to let her doctor know and I’ve been doing what the doctor said but she still keeps on spitting up a lot. I hope we are able to fix this 😭anyone have any tips? I feel so bad for my baby.

Same thing has been happening to my baby for the past few days. What has helped is feeding her fewer oz of milk at a time when bottle feeding and feeding her in a position that allows her to control the milk flow herself when breastfeeding. I’ve also been making sure to burp her after every oz as well as keeping her upright after each feeding. This has all helped a lot because I was getting worried and feeling so bad for my baby.

Dr browns or another anti-colic system, eat 1 oz then burp, keep baby upright for a bit after eating and LOTS of burping/winding. I had to put my guy on Pepcid for his reflux. He had milk coming out of his nose and mouth after every feeding all night long and would flip out and stop breathing and cry, it broke my heart 😩😩 talk to your doc!
