Sorry for the terrible photo but are these bottles meant to do this?

They do unfortunately, we use the anti-colic tops and they make all the difference in catching the air bubbles. I actually just used one without anti-colic as I ran out of sterilised ones and he threw up everywhere after his feed :(, I'm convinced it was due to too many bubbles as I couldn't get him to burp either x

@Imogen yeah these ones have the anti colic vent near the teat but don’t see it doing anything my baby’s had such a sore tummy, the mam bottles do the same :( x

I use the same as Imogen the green anti colic tommee tippee also use nuk anti colic as that takes the air bubbles down a straw like thing to the bottom of the bottle and they pop rather than going into his mouth! 🫶🏻

We found our bottles did this when we shook them before feeds. We have found you get minimal/no bubbles when you more swish them instead of shake and then my little one feeds a lot better. Hope that makes sense xx

@Hannah yess we swirl them , we’re using ready made formula as combi feeding so not really overly shaking xx

@Caitlin great I’ll try them! X

@Imogen thank you ! I’ll keep my eye out for them! X

Ahhh ok! Then I’m all out of ideas sorry! We also use the colic bottles and would highly recommend them ☺️

We swirl the bottles and have trued the tommee tippee (normal and anti colic) and mam bottles. Now we are using the Avent natural response bottles with the green anti air valve. These are a game changer! Baby definitely takes in less air, easier to burp and much more settled. Down side is that I can only find them online and not in a shop x
