I used the Tommee Tippee, it gave my baby so much gas. Also doesn’t actually go to the recommended boil to heat the milk - tried & tested with a food thermometer. Also… I went to clean it out and it was growing mold. Definitely needs thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and dried after every use I’d say. I now use the Nuby rapid cool bottle and it’s honestly amazing, I use it for every bottle in the house and out & about too - very easy to clean/dry.
Yeah we also used the nuby rapid cool but for later on. I’m just thinking in those early newborn days when you need a bottle made ASAP the nuby can sometimes take its sweet time and you’ve got a screaming baby at 3am in the morning I’m not sure I’ll have the patience for it! 😅
We used ours for two days and then got rid of it. The formula / water ratio was off and I didn’t trust it after that. I also read some pretty awful things on Google when looking into it. I would rather just do it by hand and know it’s done safely and the right way Xx
@Bella Oh totally! Whatever works. We did it all… from making bottles the night before and using a bottle warmer — those 5mins are not enjoyable with a screaming baby in your ear 😵💫 I started using the Nuby when he was 8weeks as that’s when I heard about. Definitely my most preferred and hygienic way to prepare a bottle. All the best 🫶
The formula to water ratio is off on those machines.. I just bought a formula separator and had the portions pre measured it’s easy to just make your own bottles..
@Bella we used the Nuby from birth first time round and second time we’ll be using again but at night going to use those premades until the feeds slow down a bit! Also not very trusting of those machines x
I haven't used it, but I'm curious to see what others have to say.
