How to address both reflux and colic?

These days my baby wakes up screaming and crying and arching her back. She's been struggling with colic and reflux symptoms for a long time. What have you tried to help these? Always breaks my heart to see baby crying in pain.

Gripe water for the colic throughout the day before it builds up at night

My baby had severe colic for the first 7 weeks and still has really bad reflux he’s 11 weeks old. He was on the kendamil comfort milk but it was making his reflux so much worse to the point where he was screaming for hours and had around 10 outfit changes a day. We’ve just changed him to cow and gate anti reflux and it has helped a lot. We were prescribed omeprazole from the gp and that didn’t seem to help either. Gripe water helps a little bit. We also have tried Infacol which helped with gas but made the reflux worse because it’s quite acidic. Colief drops helped a little bit but they’re so expensive. It’s so difficult but your doing amazing! X

Infacol for the colic, and we were prescribed gaviscon by the GP for reflux. He went from vomiting constantly through the day to spitting up just a little after some bottles. It's helped him sleep too, we've even had a couple of 6/7 hour sleeps through the night

Gripe water (infacol made my babies reflux really bad as it’s acidic). Omeprazole on prescription. Wasn’t keen, and it’s hard to give them, but only thing that works for the reflux. She was crying and aching bad during and after every feed. Aptimal lactose free milk. Tried a few and this is best for us. Probiotics (Optibac) really recommend this. Holding her upright for 10-20 mins after feeding. Burping her well - three times during bottle. Tummy massage for wind. Tummy time before feeding (obvs not so close that she is hungry). Moving from pram to laid back buggy. Tilting crib / Moses basket. Def do this.

Oh, and for a while until things settled - smaller feeds more often. Basically reflux is stomach contents coming out, so helps if you don’t over fill tummy.

@Deanne how many times do you give your baby gaviscon ? As I've recently gotten this for baby.
