Toddler poop

Anyone else’s toddler not poo for days on end but still eats and drinks like normal. I have been to the dr numerous times he said it’s his diet (very fussy eater) but if he’s not in pain not to worry too much but can try laxatives again if he’s not going regularly. It bothers me when he won’t poop and no matter what I do/ try it doesn’t seem to help him go. Prune, pear and drinking loads or eating lots of fruit doesn’t seem to help and I don’t really want to be regularly giving him laxatives to make him go. When he does go it’s not hard. Any one else’s little one like this or can recommend anything to help?

If he isn’t in any pain and the number 2’s aren’t solid and hard then it doesn’t sound like he’s constipated. Going every few days may just be normal for his body. It sounds like your doing all the right things. What about smoothies but trying to pack them full of fibre? Even freezing them into ice lollies?

Is he potty trained?

@Mel s he’s recently been potty trained so will wee on potty but not pooing on there yet
