I got pregnant before my first period after my D&c in July. Pregnancy has been super healthy so far just emotionally draining because of the anxiety. I was told by a nurse after my D&c the only reason they tell you to wait till your first period is for dating purposes. I just had an early scan to help with dating, but I was also able to work back through dates to figure it out x

@Jessica ok that’s good to know.. I’ve written down the date I was ovulating so hopefully will make it easier to track but an early scan would be better for my mental health. Thanks a lot xx
No worries! Also if it helps I had my D&C on the 18th of July and conception was the 10th of August x

i had a miscarriage june 2023 and was pregnant again november 2023! sometimes it can take a couple months for your cycle and ovulation to regulate again x
It’s totally okay once you’re ready unless there was complications where you were told not to. I got pregnant the month after my miscarriage last year and have a healthy 7 week old baby boy in my arms right now. There are definitely emotions to work through and anxiety but physically you are actually more fertile in the months following a miscarriage.
