Baby hating high chair all of a sudden?!
Looking for advice or any shared laughs from mamas that are going through this! My little girl has completely out of the blue decided she hates the high chair. As soon as she is placed there for meal times she starts crying, throwing herself back, kicking and pushing the food away. The first few times I thought perhaps she wasn't hungry but eventually I tried feeding her in my lap and she was more than happy to eat (yes, the mess was beyond words). Last night the same happen and we both sat on the floor, where she happily ate again. My only potential explanation is that at nursery she gets fed on a really low shared wooden table on a tiny wooden chair with all the other children - could she love that so much that she now hates the high chair?! Any ideas welcome!

Could you try one of those low seats that you can clip onto an actual chair so feels like the little chair but is still a high chair vibe!
My baby doesn’t go to nursery and he started to do the same thing..it’s really funny how they are doing same things 😅

That's exactly the same as my little and how you explained thr nursery set up is the same for my LG too and she'll happily sit and eat there. I now have to hold and feed her otherwise she throws herself around and will refuse food even though she's hungry. I need a solution too that doesn't involve her potentially hurting herself in thr highchair or go hungry :/ sorry that I dont have a solution but you're not alone
