I’m formula feeding and it’s normally every 3 hrs for us currently, sometimes can stretch to 4 hrs or can be less at 2.5 hrs during the afternoon / evening. He currently taking around 5 bottles a day.
I’m the same as Ashleigh - 5/6 feeds a day, every 3 hours or so!
My LO goes 4/4.5 hours a day, x4 bottles, 6/7oz Same time everyday, have a toddler so needed a routine to work around her also
Same as Jen and Ashleigh. Every 3 hours or so at set times. It helps to have some sort of schedule. Easier for everyone involved.
I feed my LG on demand. Whenever she shows she is hungry I feed her. She doesn’t go much past the 2.5 hours during the day. Can go a bit more during the night. Or she used to, before the 4 month regression.
Totally on demand even though I am bottle feeding. She fills herself up in the evening and then sleeps with just one feed at night.
We play by ear. Sometimes my little one is hungrier sooner as well, depends on growth spurts etc. When he was first born he went 45 mins , now we get between 3.5-4 hrs but that can change to 2.5. He’s happy and gaining weight as he should be.
