Upping formula!?

So my baby is nearly 5 months old he’s on 7 ounces of formula! He seems to now cry after he’s finished his bottle but 7 ounces is quite a lot and I didn’t know if you even do 8 ounces? Is that a stupid question or literally do you only ever do 7 ounces until they start to introduce food?. on the packet, I’m sure only goes up to 7 ounces

my daughter is 5 months old & is having 7 ounces every 3-4 hours (sometimes waits longer throughout the night). i find you should up their formula intake when the bottles you’re giving them, isn’t satisfying them which is usually when they cry after bottle, continue to suck the bottle once it’s finished, or if they want bottles more frequently. never be worried about upping their ounces, you can always try & if it doesn’t work, then you can always revert back to 7 ounces ☺️ i’m pretty sure you can go up to 9 ounces? so maybe try and see what happens x

We’ve just moved to 210ml (just under 8oz) every 3/4hrs. I found my daughter was having a little whinge after each bottle.. so hopefully this’ll fill her up a bit more. Plus it follows the suggested amounts for age on the Kendamil milk we feed her 👍

My little boy has been on 8oz from about 10 weeks old.
