8-8 but sometimes they don’t immediately kick out bang on 8
I had my baby there last week and it was 8.30-8.30 but they don’t seem to police it too much
Yes I think the same - 8 till 8 visiting hours and 1-2 visitors at a time
Had my baby in june 8-8 had my baby at 3:33pm but dad didnt leave till 11:30pm as i had to get stitches so he stayed with me and baby till we got put into the maternity ward they where really lovely and tried to get us a family room but by the time they where done in the op room all the family rooms where full xx
The ward I was out on was 8-8 for birthing partners but 4-8 for anyone else .. I had a private room so they did let me have people come earlier as I was on my own most the time
Thank you! I am having a c-section on a friday and am trying to work out when i can tell people they can possibly visit, but its really unclear online if its 8-8 that anyone can come or just birth partners. I'm hoping during non-visiting hours my husband can come some of the time and my mum the rest as i have a 5 year old who will still need his dad, and then maybe other family members can come and meet him in the time 4-8 if that's the official visiting hours.
@Ali I think it was only 4-8 because I was in a different ward as they had no private rooms anywhere else but was deffo a 8-8 for birthing partners. I’d deffo ask your midwife as all wards are different and I also made it clear I didn’t want visitors as I was tired so when people came my midwife’s turned them away 🤣
You can ask for a family bay and your birthing partner can stay with you the whole time! Worth asking before you give birth and right afterwards. Good luck x
hey, i had my baby there last December, I believe visiting is 1/2 people at a time to avoid over crowding, and hours for dad to be there was 8-8, i could be wrong (baby brain😂) but that rings a bell! xx
