My 8months old keeps reducing his formula intake daily prefers more of solids but I don’t want him to take more of solids am I wrong? Is it okay for him to get off formula just yet?

No, they need to be on formula until 12 months. Its okay for the milk to reduce but dont stop it. How much milk does he take and how many meals? How long do you leave between milk and solids? Teething can also cause them to reduce their milk while in pain

@CeeCee I thought as much I give him 2 solids a day cereal and purée (fruits or veggies) he takes 210ml formula in the morning then cereal for lunch then 150ml then purée to sleep wakes up once in the night and takes 150ml

He never had issues with teething didn’t affect him much

Definitely don’t stop formula until 12 months. Then you can substitute it with cows milk, yoghurts and cheese once they turn 1.
