Feeding

My LO is the exact same 😂 she gets really annoyed if I try to feed her and throws her head around. When she’s got her own spoon and I load it up for her she’s great but seems like she’s sometimes more interested in chewing the spoon than actually eating anything 🤦🏻‍♀️ x

Mines like that too. Keep telling him he's too small to feed himself porridge, lol. So now we're holding the spoon together just coz I don't have the energy to clean up all the mess he'll make

Have you tried feeding with 2 spoons? One for them to hold and one to actually feed with. Or alternatively try a few finger foods - slices of banana/avocado/cooked carrot for them to try feeding themselves

Yeah I use 2 spoons one for him one for me x

My little one is the same I try give him his own spoon which distracts him and feed him at the same time 😅 it’s helped a bit!

My little one grabbed the spoon as well, but we figured if we give her our pinky instead she is happy 🤣 so basically hold the pinky of the hand out that holds the spoon. She grabs onto it and pulls it towards her, essentially feeding herself... she is happy that way... we still hold the "power" but for her it seems like she is eating by herself 🤣
