Weight gain

I am a FTM and I’m 35 weeks… I’ve gained 65 lbs during this pregnancy and ppl keep telling me “oh it’ll come right off once you have the baby” and I want to know if anyone else experienced this much weight gain and how much of it they retained long after they gave birth. I feel like a fat cow 😭I literally used to be a size 4 now I’m 215 lbs

With my first pregnancy I gained around 45-50lbs in total, I fluctuated a lot in the end. This pregnancy I have gained like 35 lbs. everyone is different and every pregnancy is different. I breastfed my son and people say that’s what made me lose all my pregnancy weight but I’m not sure. Don’t be hard on yourself mama focus on growing that babes and taking care of yourself mentally.

With my first pregnancy I gained 50lbs. It took about 10 months to fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans. I lost 40lbs of the 50 I put on. I didn’t diet but I don’t eat garbage all the time either. I did walk a lot with my daughter more for my mental health. Didn’t breastfeed or hit the gym. It honestly wasn’t a hyper focus after my daughter was born. I was so exhausted, that even though it had been a priority, it ended up being the last thing on my list. Just surviving was the priority 😅

You're not a fat cow, mama. I would suggest exercise. I can count on one hand how many times I've worked out. Take walks and you'll feel better. Walking is good enough
