Me too. I find he has the same sort of thing all the time! I try and give him what we have for dinner but alot of the time we have processed meals or food that has too much salt/sugar. I often do toast with butter/peanut butter/fruit pouch spread on top. He has baked beans. Broccoli fritters which he really enjoys! Or I'll do mashed potato and veggies with some sort of meat on top.

We do a lot of breakfast food for both breakfast and lunch- yoghurt and fruit, porridge or weetabix with fruit or nut butter, toast with spreads, toasted crumpet or pancake (homemade or just from shop low sugar), mashed veg, mashed potato with some veg puree on top, pasta

There’s an app I’ve got called Baby Led Weaning Cookbook which has literally hundreds of quick and easy recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. It’s £5.99 from memory, but well worth it in my opinion. I really like that you can search by ingredients so if your LO likes baked beans for example, you can type that in and it will bring up all the recipes that contain beans.

We usually give her what we’re having, but I also make her pancakes, fritters, scrambled eggs, bagels, omelettes, veggie tots, toast etc. she loves peas on the side and corn on the cob is also a huge winner! When we have pasta I will do her half plain pasta and the other half with sauce (no/low salt) so she has a choice. We give her home made curry too which is one of her faves with a bit of paratha and rice on the side. x

I’ve found home made meatballs with tomato sauce and some pasta a big hit with my baby.

My baby often has what we have. If I make a cottage pie, casserole or curry for example I'll give it a quick blend then put it in the silicone freezer trays. She's has fish fingers peas and rice. Bolognaise. Orzo pasta with tomato sauce and some cream cheese stirred through. Tartiflette. Risotto. Roast dinners. Fresh soups from the fridge department in supermarkets. Scrambled eggs with grated cheese. Omelette. Porridge. Fruits/veggies Sliced ripe avocado. Stew. Occasional treats include things like pancakes or toast. To name a few. I don't use table salt, it's terrible for your health, instead I use cornish sea salt flakes and contrary to popular belief, it is not harmful for babies. We actually need salt, it's a vital mineral.
