Extremely fussy eater- nursery lunch

So if you have an extremely fussy child, what do you put in their lunch box? I'm so tired of accommodating my son's fussiness. I make muffins or pancakes at 10 pm sometimes. I'm so done with this. I wish he'd eat sandwiches like other kids😩

My little one is v fussy - pretty sure she is neurodivergent and this is a symptom of it. If they’ve always been v fussy that’s likely the reason rather than them just being difficult - if they used to eat well then suddenly became fussy it could just be an age thing that will improve. Anyway I make my little girl banana pancakes, a small wrap rolled up with dairylea and ham in (pretty sure she just eats the ham out of it), raspberries/grapes/strawberries, a kiddylicious biscuit, a babybel, a fruit yo-yo, and a yoghurt. Sometimes it’s all gone, sometimes almost all comes home! Have you tried freezing the pancakes? I make a big batch and freeze them then just defrost what I need.

Mine won’t eat a sandwich at home, but does eat it when it’s in his lunchbox! Have you tried giving it to him?

Main part, I normally do a dunker or home made lunchable with ritz crackers, cheese, ham, chicken. Or Crackers with derelea cheese. Home made pizza wrap, wrap with ketchup cheese air fry for a few mins. Cheese and crackers. Chicken wraps. Veg: normally 2 types, carrots, cucumber, peppers, tomato's Fruit normally 2 types, grapes, raspberry, strawberry, apple, banana Side: raisens, crisps or popcorn

@Molly this sounds like a dream. My son won't eat ANY type of cheese. He hates chicken, ham, tomatoes and peppers. He likes kofta wrap though. I'm thinking maybe I should find a good food flask so he can have it warm. I can't imagine him eating it if it's cold.

@Samantha ever since he turned 18 months he's been fussy. He won't eat any type of cheese, ham/chicken/tuna or green leafy vegetables or tomatoes. 😭 I make pancakes and freeze them as well. But I'm sick of making pancakes. I just want to be able put sandwiches in his lunchbox. It would be so much easier for me😪

@Emily I haven't actually sent it to nursery because he won't even entertain the idea of touching a sandwich at home. I'm sure he would rather starve himself than eating it. But maybe I should try it one day (alongside his pancakes)
