Cows milk transition

Hey does anyone have any advice? My HV literally told me to just transition straight over, however I've decided to gradually add the cows milk to my little ones formula. She's currently on three bottles a day. Wake up, one around 3pm (which she loves) and bed time. Bed time is always hit and miss depending on how much tea she's had. I've read on the NHS toddlers at this age need 12oz of cows milk a day. Will your little ones be taking it from a bottle for a while or straight to a beaker? I tried a beaker a few days ago and she wasn't interested, but downed the bottle. Thanks

My bubbas 1 in 2 weeks i've been slowly adding cows milk to her formula and now on 50%/50% only a quater tub left so once gone i'll just do full cows milk as its been a total nightmare hunting down kendamil every week sometimes i've had to go to 3 different places to find it so i'm really pleased the formula days are now done. She has it in her nuby beaker in the morning feeds herself and have tried it at night but she's not so keen so still using the bottle then. She's on two 7oz bottles a day,3 meals which half of is in her bib/the floor or fed to the dog so bit worried she's not taking enough solids and some snacks

I did my LBs gradually. He'd already been having cows milk with cereals so I did 1oz a day in all of his bottles. He's now fully transitioned and I started on his 1st birthday (was 1 on 28th oct). He's been really fussy drinking milk from a cup, even though it's the same as what he has his water in. Now he's fully transitioned, he has 3oz with breakfast, in his tum tum cup, 3oz with lunch, also in his tum tum cup. Then his bedtime bottle is 7oz and currently still in his normal bottle. Once he's more used to having his milk from his tum tum, I'll start to give milk with dinner as well and reduce the bedtime bottle x

Just watch for constipation as cows milk is much harder to digest. We’re on 5oz cows and 2oz formula and have been for over a week now as his poos have gotten more solid. I plan to stay here until they soften again. I put a post up asking the same thing more or less and a couple of people shared how their LOs had been quite bad with constipation and needed hospital/Drs

@Suzy yea same my daughter got a bit constipated switching she was very grump which i think was her bound up and had hard rabbit poos,we switched back to more formula until they softened
