12 week scan

Hi, does anyone know if they allow husband and child to come to the 12 week ultrasound? My husband would love to see the baby but we don’t have any babysitter. It’s at Mater Hospital. Thanks!

Husband yes but possibly not kids. Is everyone aware that the 12 week scan in NI does not cover the combined test and nuchal scan available in the rest of mainland UK? Something to ask your doctors about.

They let us all in for the scan but explained as well why they usually don’t let the kids to stay. And yeah, I was expecting more testing last time around but realised after they don’t do it over here automatically during the 12 week appointment 🤷‍♀️
