Sometimes I feel like when I can’t control situations it helps to write down a dream case scenario and work backwards in smaller more achievable steps. Maybe writing out some goals of small things like step count, healthy meals you’d like to try to make etc forms of movement you really enjoy and see if you can put a few steps forward towards your vision. I find it good as a way of focusing on the positive aspects of change rather than focusing on things that mentally put you down. You’ve done a really incredible thing with your body and in some ways it is easy to forget that so maybe you could also write down all the things that you have been able to achieve with your body that make you grateful and proud. ❤️ we are all to hard on ourselves I hope you can feel better soon and be kind to yourself ❤️
Hey lovely, sharing your feelings with us and having an accountability partner is the greatest way to stay motivated. I have a group of friendly women, we do monthly short challenges (current one is 20 squat- 20 push up- 20 seconds plank (modified forpregnant and postpartum ladies)- 20 seconds deep breathing - 20 seconds positive affirmations). Fancy joining?
It doesn’t sound shallow. I fully relate on this. I was such an outdoor person and always on the go then when I fell pregnant I felt huge and horrible. My little girl is 2 weeks now and I’m trying to get out and move more but don’t like how I look. You’re not alone and im sure you look amazing. Your motivation will come back soon but please be kind to yourself in the meantime. Your smashing it x
