Bottle feeding

NHS guidelines say to leave the boiled kettle water for 30 mins so it reaches the right temp. Can you pour this in before hand and run under the tap to cool it down?

I have done multiple times, I usually stand the bottle in a jug of cold water though (not covering the lid) to cool down, and then just test temp on back of hand or wrist

How long roughly does it take to cook Down to the right temp? As waiting 30 mins for the kettle to cool down sounds crazy when your baby’s hungry

I use boiling water and then the nuby rapid cooler to make it to the right temp (if he's asleep I'll boil the kettle first and then make it after half hour or so)
