Hair washing
My son loves bath time but hates having his hair washed. He has a head full of curls. He doesn’t mind getting the conditioner brushed out but doesn’t like water in his face. He won’t let me put my hand over his eyes to keep the water out of them and when he does tip his head back he tips it forward the moment the water touches his head. Anyone have any tips?

I put my son in laying down position so the water doesn't go to his face. x

My son is the same!! Daughter was too. When rinsing the hair out, after i tell them to tip back, i start at the back slowly so I'd they to their head forward, none had a chance to get in their face yet and just have them tilt back again. Little by little i move from back to front. Repetition and to help them be more apt to avoid their instant reaction to pull away. They usually are better now that we've done that way forever. Well, she is fine now (8). He is usually better on most days.
