Pregnancy test after mc

Still testing positive 😔. It'll be 3 weeks on Weds since I last had my hcg blood test which had come down to a point they were happy with. I have been advised to test again on Weds. I just feel like it's still going to be positive and it is so disheartening since we want to start trying again ASAP. I have also been having cramping which I have been convinced has been my period coming but it hasn't come, plus if I'm still getting positive pregnancy test that surely means I have too much hcg in my system to ovulate. My concern now is that I have retained products. Anybody have any similar experiences and can either enlighten me on what may be happening or reassure me? I should also add that I was only 5-6 weeks when I miscarried so very early, so it feels weird that it is still positive.

Did you have a dnc?

@Lillian no, no intervention. I was advised to test 3 weeks after which will be on Weds. I have taken it upon myself to do preg tests before then

Did they say you was miscarrying because of the cervix being open? Bc that happen to me and I end up not miscarrying but I bled heavy 8 days! And was still testing positive and she is now 12

They was gonna do a dnc on me but said oh your cervix is closed I said and I’m still testing positive! And they did blood work and turns out baby was still growing so there is always still hope always get second opinion

It’s best to go for a scan, I miscarried but the sac just collapsed but hadn’t come out. Had to have surgical management in the end as it would t come out even with the meds

@Lillian I had three lots of bloods and the hcg was too low for my gestation and decreasing so it is definitely a miscarriage

@Danni I will test again on Weds and let EPAU know, which is what they've told me to do anyway. Hoping and praying it is negative but I have a sneaky feeling that it won't be 😔

I was still testing positive 3 weeks after my loss so I had a scan and luckily everything had passed. It can just take time for HCG to lower. Always best to check with a scan though x

Get some macca root I did after my mc and my period came 3 weeks after x
