Blood tests

Hi, when do you get the blood test results from the first midwife appointment? Do they advise you everything is ok? Or do you just wait until your 16 week appointment?

as far as i’m aware they only give any results if something is wrong such as infections

Does your midwife use the badger notes app or physical notes? If you’re using badger notes you get the results on there, but not sure otherwise!

I got very detailed results in a mobile app quite soon after my first appt. They kept posting me the different test results as soon as they had them ready. My hospital uses MyChart app for communication.

@Grace I have badger notes and I had my bloods done 3 weeks ago and it’s not updated. ☹️ feel like it’s a very clunky app

My midwife told me she'd only be in contact if there was something "wrong" and she hasn't. My appointment was almost two weeks ago

No news is good news, this what she told me on Friday. It would take about week, but only calls if something is wrong :)

My midwife called me to discuss my history, and dropped in there that there were no concerns 🤷🏽‍♀️
