@Lauren hes always had the same milk aptimal he usually loves it and yesterday he only had 520ml.. and he waited 10 hours for a bottle I had to physically force feed him this morning then another 6 hours later i physically forced him to eat it’s breaking my heart i don’t know what to do .. xx
@Kate aw hes a brilliant weight , how long is he waiting in between feeds hes only taking 4oz every feed atm and he waited 10 hours then another 6 and I had to physically force him to drink i don’t know if I should phone the hospital xx
So he woke up at 6.30am took 2oz but refused the rest Then had 6oz about 10am Hes currently asleep so I’ll try to give him another bottle in about an hour He’s not crying for food or anything and he’s struggling to finish 6oz Mines on Aptamil too…. Maybe they are having a growth spurt? I was actually worried with my first that he was eating too much and this one is the opposite !
If you’re worried maybe just give your Health visitor a ring or message tomorrow? Mine was a bit poorly last week and was really off his milk too (and kept being sick) as he was congested and couldn’t actually eat because he couldn’t breathe
Im just gonna phone nhs 24 it’s been another 5 hours and hes not drinking at all hes in some state when I try feed him even after ten hours he was in a very bad state when I was feeding him he’s only had 1 wet nappy since last night aswel so im worried so stressful
Mine’s 10 weeks and has 5oz every 2-4 hours during the day, but at night he’ll go 7-8 hours of sleep (most nights) without a feed. Sometimes during the day he goes 5 hours. Doctor said so long as baby is gaining weight and doesn’t seem ill at all, feed him when he wants to be fed!
@Faith it was over 10 hours And he wasn’t even sleeping well he slept a bit but I think 10 hours is to long so forced him to feed he was screaming and crying 😭 then he went another 8 hours with no bottle then another 8 .. and Iv had to physically force him every time it’s been a struggle
How much is he having within a 24 hour period? 🙂 wondering if he doesn't like the milk that much...they do all taste slightly different I believe. Or could he be starting to teeth? Is he well in himself or ill/coldy?
