We do breakfast normally yogurt, a fruit he can hold and then a carb e.g. toast porridge, pancakes etc. lunch melty sticks and a finger food to chew like cucumber, melon, tomato etc and a veg puree and dinner and adapted version of whatever we are having normally a combination of finger food and puree e.g. tonight we had jacket potatoes and chilli so he had fingers of jacket potatoes with the skin removed and mashed up his chilli and gave half a banana as he was still hungry
I do whatever we're having blended up or mashed for dinner have done since day one, planning on starting him on breakfast next week, going to do him some extra of my porridge every day , I normally have frozen blueberry and banana . He's just over 7 months, he also has the odd melty stick at lunch cuz he always wants food when I have it .
You should follow baby_led_weaning_cookbook on Instagram, a lot of her recipes are liek 3-5 ingredients so very easy and can freeze them My LO is just went to 3 meals he’s 7 month and it’s tricky not making things repetitive so I bought her cookbook app for £4.99 however on her page she also gives out a lot free recipes etc. I’ve just batched cook a lot and froze so I can take out for easyness. Breakfast I tend to give weetabix, porridge, fruit, yoghurt , pancakes Lunch is like veg / fruit with homemade soup, toast, puff pastry pin wheels, fritters, loafs etc Dinner I try have some protein and carbs, ie fish, mince meat w veg / fruit or yoghurt Also give odd melts stick etc if we’re out and about.
I'm planning to do porridge for breakfast, veg and rice for lunch and fruits for dinner.
