We do pasta based things a lot like cheesy brocolli macaroni or bolognaise! Little one loves toast too - just be prepared for gagging which is perfectly normal, my little one did it tonight and he’s been eating food like this for months!
I don’t serve on the plate as it always end up on the floor like most of her food 🫠 However breakfast we do toast fingers, weetabix or new favourite is cheerios I soak them in milk and just warm the milk and then serve them into he highchair tray and she picks them up and eats them Lunch we do sandwiches she’s an absolutely cheese lover so always a win have also tried other things like thins, wraps, pinwheels, egg muffins cucumber sticks are also a firm favourite here! Humous and breadstick too Dinner is generally what we eat just portioned better and smaller parts which include things like chicken fajitas Shepard’s pie, sausages, pasta based meals Honestly I was a puree mummy for dinners and finger foods for breakfast and lunch until I discovered she’s a bit lazy and would gage alot when given lumps so i went cold turkey on the pouches! Some days are a disaster but in the whole she does soo much better I brought the book ‘what mummy makes’ that has soo many ideas in! X
