Heart broken
Hi mummas, my 2 year old boy has always been an amazing sleeper. His now in a big bed which is on the floor and is amazing in there too.
A few nights ago my sister put on her Halloween mask which my son saw and was petrified.
He now refuses to go to bed.
His hysterical.
I’ve tried sleeping with him in his bed.
I spoke with him about what happened and it not really ect.
I’ve used a night light for him.
I’ve opened his door.
Literally nothing works.
I’m heartbroken this is because his scared.
I don’t know what to do.
My husband works some night shifts so his not home and I have a 4 month old who I need to look after as well.

I personally would be praying over my child and their room. Help them know that it was just pretend and a mask and maybe even try to show some Halloween movies that are fun to help them understand. Next time tell your sister to not do that. And maybe even have her come and talk to him and apologize. Idk what yall did after he got scared if he saw her face after or if he got to play with the mask but maybe try that. Show him that it was just pretend and it’s funny. But I would for sure be praying over him to not be scared and to feel at peace again
