I personally wouldn't serve salami period ..it's not healthy for babies (or anyone) because of the nitrates. Could you substitute a less processed meat?
@Natalie Thank you for the advice, i do usually cut it in half length way but they were both sharing one and i just didn’t think🤦🏼♀️he doesn’t usually eat it anyways so luckily he didn’t touch it x
@Genevieve i appreciate the concern but sometimes the salami is the only thing i can get my 3 year old to eat as she doesn’t eat very much so i always offer this during the day, i have tried other forms of sausage but she doesn’t take to them
@Jodi🤍 don’t feel pressured by what’s healthy or what’s not. I’m sure all babies and I mean all of them regardless what the parents say, not always eating healthy food. It’s about balancing healthy and not healthy. ☺️ and make sure they eat enough nutritious food I think
@Ibby Thank you, absolutely more important to make sure she’s getting what she needs. We seen a dietitian last week over her eating and she advised us what drinks she can have to help get everything in her diet she needs and then anything she eats is a bonus! I serve at least 1 safe food per meal so i know she’s still going to eat something that i offer xx
Looks tasty. I personally wouldn't have discs of salami for the 11 month old. They are the size of their throat so I'd cut it longways instead.
