Whole Milk

Obviously I know every kid is different, when making the switch to whole milk I know it’s not a meal like formula. But I was wondering if I give my child a full bottle of whole milk in the morning would she be able to eat breakfast about an hour later, instead of the two hour mark that I feed her now with solids. Just trying to prepare myself for the one year transition, and trying to somewhat plan ahead what I’ll be doing with our schedule. Any moms have other kids and how long after the morning bottle did you feed them? I know I will have to see how she does, but was just curious on your thoughts?

I’m personally waiting till her 1 year doctor appointment to start transitioning her to whole milk

@Rhane ☔️ you’re not suppose to do 1/2 scoops with formula. I was doing half scoops for a while and my pediatrician told me no half scoops because I guess it doesn’t give them the proper nutrition & I guess you can’t properly eye ball a half scoops. I didn’t believe her and then called the formula company as well and they told me the same thing. Either use the pitcher method or throw out what you don’t use & only do full scoops

I do full scoops
