Try making everything pancakes or nuggets, I sneak fruits and veggies into those shapes and he doesn’t know the difference, throw in a healthy dip and it becomes fun! I use oat flour and egg as my base for pancakes and use smashed banana, pumpkin, apple sauce, anything really and make little pancakes, and for nuggets I’ll use the same base but use ground chicken or turkey, I recently used some kale and cauliflower I blended really smooth and baked them in the shape of nuggets, used a little bit of sourdough breadcrumbs to give it a crunch and my son loved it. Hope that helps! (Also if she likes it, make a big batch and freeze them so you have them ready to go in a pinch :) good luck mama!)
Hi! Can you let me know what foods your daughter really likes? My little girl has tried over 100 foods and I have a pretty good amount of ideas up my sleeve if you could just let me know what your daughter likes I can help with some ideas!❤️
What does she eat? I think it’s helpful to not give them easier options like cheerios and empty snacks/sweets other than fruits, because they will take the easy route. Try giving her whatever you eat for dinner even if she just picks at your plate, I share my food with baby so when she was first interested in solids she wanted some of my chicken and I gave it to her and she managed to chew and swallow.
@Hayleigh id love some ideas!!! I have a 13 month old and she basically eats fruit, eggs, beef
@Hayleigh she likes steak, she likes noodles and she likes crackers and fruits but that’s about it :/ she used to like chicken, some veggies, rice, beef, and about everything but now she likes nothing 🥲
@kay sometimes kids get picky even after they ate everything and like’s everything before. I used to work at a daycare and kids are PICKY. My daughter rn I swear she lives off of bananas because she’ll eat a little of whatever I give her then she’ll refuse to eat anything else unless there’s bananas on her tray
I think some snacks with protein is fine if she’s not eating a meal. Try turkey & ham deli slices, oranges, cottage cheese, grapes.
