Stroller/Car Seat - Travel System Recommendations

Hey all, I am a first time mom, due in March and I am so confused in which kind of travel system to get. I assume we would travel a few times a year and I also love going on walks, so thinking a bassinet attachment would also be useful. My friends are like don’t spend a lot of money and get the thousand dollar nuna or uppa vista because it’s get used pretty roughly when it comes to checking it at the airport. I’ve also heard you don’t want to keep it in the car seat for long either, so a bassinet attachment is necessary imo

Hi! We got the UPPAbaby vista travel system. It is pricy but in all reality I love it. I love that the stroller comes with a big basket space and that attaching the car seat and the bassinet is so easy. The stroller is a little chunky and heavy but when going on walks it’s such a smooth ride. If you want something more lightweight I would definitely recommend the UPPAbaby Cruz. When traveling you can purchase the travel bag and place the stroller in it. In case it gets damaged you can file a claim with UPPAbaby and can get a whole new stroller or parts. We did splurge a bit but we think it was a great investment. 😊

I personally have the uppababy travel system and I LOVE it. The bassinet was so convenient when my little was a teeny tiny newborn. If you do travel with it, invest in the travel bag from them. If it gets damaged during transit, uppababy will replace your stroller (was told by UB customer service when our stroller was damaged by AA). I personally invested in a travel stroller that can fold and fit in the overhead compartment for when we travel, but our little is now 2 so that's what works best for us.

look into the Veer cruiser it does everything. 0-5years 2 seat wagon for toddlers, all the traveling add ons available plus so much more. like a whole nap system i also have the UB Vista system but got it for $220 second hand. wouldn’t justify buying brand new because that thing is bulky and heavy , so is the wagon but id prefer it

I’ve got the bugaboo fox travel system and it’s on baby #2 now. My only regret is that I didn’t get the donkey as it can expand to 2 seats! You can gate check strollers and I haven’t gotten it damaged yet.
