Anyone have PCOS and was able to get pregnant?

I’ve completely skipped my period but getting negative (early result) pregnancy tests. Is it possible to be pregnant even though testing negative with PCOS? I took letrozole for 2 months before this happened and had regular periods. I’m just confused, do I need a different type of pregnancy test or is this common with PCOS? I also know I ovulated last month (took an ovulation test) Please explain, thanks! I have PCP appt tomorrow.

Hi! I’ve just been diagnosed with PCOS. I’m also getting positive ovulation tests but not releasing an egg… now on cycle day 76… and negative pregnancy tests. This is common if your have cysts on your ovaries which means you’re not releasing eggs during ovulation xx

@Katy last ultrasound there weren’t any cysts. But maybe they could be new idk!

Hi I was diagnosed with PCOS 5 years ago and I’m currently pregnant with my first, I found normal ovulation tests never worked for me I ended up using mira which helped me so much with understanding when I was ovulation, both my ovaries have cysts, if you want you can message me x

Yes I’ve got a 1 year old and conceived with PCOS. Ovulation test kits are not the best predictors for people with PCOS due to consistently high LH. The best method I found was temperature tracking to pinpoint ovulation. Buying a tempdrop was the best thing I ever did and got pregnant very quickly using it. Really hope that helps you 😊

I have PCOS and have two kids. I had to use letrozole and IUI, but it's possible!

I’ve only just found out I have PCOS, I’ve got 2 kids and never had a problem conceiving (conceived first month of trying with both). until we started trying for our 3rd, I miscarried in Jan and had issues since. That’s when I got tests done and found out I have PCOS🤦🏻‍♀️ I’d say keep on with letrozole. Maybe call your gp to get a scan done aswell xx

Yes, I had a baby last years after years of ttc.

I have PCOS, currently pregnant with my second baby (third pregnancy). Myo-inositol supplements are what helped me after years of trying✨

I’ve had PCOS for over 20 years and conceived my only child naturally only recently. What helped me was being gluten and dairy free to help manage my insulin.

With my first Id not had a period in I don’t know how long Started feeling nauseous randomly Took a test - negative, thought nothing of it Months later I took one again - pregnant (and 18 weeks at that) Maybe just wait a week or 2 and do another test to be sure

@Stephanie I just took one today, it was negative but I haven’t had my period since Sept 20th.

Yes I have PCOS . Cysts on both side of my ovaries and I tried for years, tried a low carb diet avoided medication and I managed to conceive so it is very possible!😊and this was me not trying to become pregnant in the end

I've had irregular cycles forever, but only recently got diagnosed with PCOS. I had no trouble with my 2 kids and haven't had a miscarriage. I've been blessed by God, as I know a family member with PCOS and she took much longer to get pregnant. My theory is that weight control and watching out for diabetes is important to conception. Though I'm still pretty ignorant about it. I just know that at my heaviest weight, is when I got cysts and officially diagnosed. And had to get the period induced.
