@Jessica thank you! In California we get up to $2,500 through a charter school that requires testing and cannot be used for faith based curriculum. Arizona is an option if my husband requested a transfer. That’s why I am looking into it
My kids are too young for ESA right now but I’m in a couple groups for it and my understanding is it’s quite a process to get things approved but I do know moms have gotten the good and the beautiful curriculum approved. Our governor and most if not all the local democrats are against the program and are trying to get rid of it though so…luckily republicans still have majority in house and senate so it’s safe for the next couple years
We have the ESA program which is basically you get the tax money for your kids that would traditionally go to the public schools for schooling your kids. It’s optional to apply for it. Your child has to be 5yo by a certain time to be eligible unless they have a disability/special needs then I believe it’s 4yo
