My breastfed baby was going every 5 days but has reduced down to 3 now. HV said it can be up to 10 days. If you are worried give the GP a call.
Sorry I have no advice but Can I ask when you combo feed, do you pump when you give the bottle? Because my baby had a bottle once and my breasts were so hard when I didn’t feed her as she had the bottle x
We combonfeed, c. 50:50 formula and breast. My boy is 10w and he regularly poops once a day; always in the morning.
@Natalie Yeah - when she has a bottle I pump. Building up a stash of milk in the freezer for when I leave her at any point in the future. And use some of the expressed milk in her bottles x
@Natalie Yeah, I’d heard the same thing about breastfed babies…..it’s just as she has some formula every day, I wasn’t sure how that affects things. Waiting on a call from the GP to discuss things x
3-4 days combi fed. My health visitors and gp also said the same no concern unless 10 days and apparently isn’t constipated. My son gets really uncomfy come day 4 though.
Morning, I'd say for our baby girl she goes once or twice a day, we do 2 bottles a day, one when we are out if I'm not comfortable breastfeeding and one in the night x
