So with having a newborn what is everyone plan on doing? I’m having mixed emotions.

Hubs and I are staying home and we ordered catering!
@Emilee I am getting induced on the 17th, so I have similar feelings about Thanksgiving. I like your idea of having the baby in the wrap and keeping it close to you. I’m just feeling overwhelmed at the idea of having to do such a big event with the baby being so new. I’m hoping my cousin won’t mind if I need to go into her guestroom to nurse or sleep.

I told my boyfriend we can bring her to thanksgiving, but she will in a wrap on me and nobody will be able to hold her and if they throw a fit about it we will leave. She will be born next week. I am getting induced at 18th so she will most likely be born the 19th. I would obviously much rather not take her at all and have a family member bring us a plate, but I’m a people pleaser sadly 😞 but if they are gonna complain about not being able to hold her then that’s where I draw the line. Christmas will be the same!
