Solids

My baby will be 7 months next Sunday. I’ve been giving her purées for 1 month straight. When should I be changing it to thicker foods with more clumps? I just never know when to change the textures up.. etc. I’m scared she’ll choke but I’m sure by now she should be fine!! She also has two bottom teeth now. Any help here will be greatly appreciated! I feel behind with solids like I should be giving her thicker foods versus purée

Check out Solid Starts. We don't do purees at all. My girl is 6m and has had about 20 foods. Salmon, ground beef, broccoli, carrots, fruit, etc. We follow BLW and we love it. We did it with my son also. He had 100 foods by 10m. Give that baby Thanksgiving dinner! 😋

Following. 7 month tomorrow and he’s taken bites of banana and strawberries but he doesn’t know what to do with the bite he just spits it out lolol but he does taste it and love them both when their puréed

trust your baby ♡ if she gags, she's learning to eat, not choking! we do purees when we're out, but at home, blw

Two teeth? 😳 my baby is almost 7 months old ,and doesn’t have teeth

I’m doing baby led weening with some puree (yogurt, mash potato). We are using 101 before one and finding it very helpful!

I find blw challenging so we do purées and started mashed (bananas, eggs, avocado) a week or so ago.

I started feeding my baby basically whatever I eat at 5 months old and he’s doing great.
