Antenatal appointment at DRI
Seccond time mum here! I’ve been sent a letter about an outpatient obstetric appointment with no background and I’m unsure what it’s about as I have my midwife appointments at my doctors.
Has anyone had one before?
It does say on the letter it may be 3 hours long… 🫠

24 weeks. I’m not aware I’m under a consultant which seems odd. Ngl I’ve found whenever I’ve gone to DRI communication hasn’t been the best so not expecting much from the appointment.
Ring maternity records and ask 😊
Thanks! I eventually got through to someone who wasn’t exactly helpful or friendly and I’m still non the wiser. I’m assuming after doing some googling it my be due to me having forcepts first time round 🤷🏻♀️

How far along are you? I think they coincide with 12 / 20 week scans if you don't have any other issues or a consultant. You can phone them and ask though. And yes, you are there waiting for hours 🙃
