We’ve been doing baby led weaning so it’s all been single ingredient real foods so far. :)
I started puree and so far mine likes it. We also gave mashed sweet potatoes, carrots, and avocado. If she isn't interested, try a different texture food
We started around 4 months. Our doctor told us to. I let her lick everything. I just don't let her eat everything. She didn't like purees at first but the more food I let her lick the better she got with food. We give her eggs every morning and depending what we eat we will give her some of that too
So if you give her the food you’re giving her I’m guessing you just cut it up and bite-size pieces? Because they basically can have everything
My sons 7 months and i let him taste our foods but not yet eat it just cause he doesn’t have teeth yet put any soft like oatmeal mashed potatoes anything similar to purées he eat
We do a mixture of puree and sticks of real food. He really likes feeding himself so the puree is less and less now.
i’ve started my daughter on what we eat, she loves it download “solid starts” it helped a lot with learning out to serve her our food!
Yea only clean food tho not any processed foods no fried foods and I just chew it for my 8 month old he prefers that over baby food like @Kira he eats eggs every morning he loves it
No, don't give bite sized pieces as it's a choking hazard, give massive pieces for them to pick up and gnaw on!
I started my daughter with whatever we ate. She seems to hate the texture of purées
