AITA?

AITA for being upset that my husband wants to go to a party this Saturday when I'm working and bring our twin 16 month olds with him when everyone is going to be getting drunk and then staying overnight at said party with my babies 3 hours away from me??? I don't feel comfortable with it and I've told him and he says he's going anyways. So now I have to either call in sick (at the risk of getting in trouble) or take a personal day without pay if I can't find anyone to watch them while I'm working.

No chance would they be staying overnight. I’d let him go on the condition he didn’t drink and came home but only if you trust him x

Absolutely not!! ANYTHING can happen to your kids in a safe environment but imagine an environment where there’s alcohol and strangers involved! I have anxiety just thinking about your babies being there! What if he just wants to relax so he asks someone to just watch them for a moment, ANYTHING could happen. No no no!! You can’t reverse bad actions either

Absolutely not. If he still wants to go, he can arrange childcare, and if he doesn't, tell him to find a new address. He should be a responsible parent, not a selfish twat!!!

Absolutely not. My biological father took me too a family party where everyone was drunk bc it was his time And I remember sleeping in the living room being woken up to a glass bottle being broken around me from a drunk cousin who threw it at the wall. I was 8/9 and I think that’s an absolute no. So for 16 months. Absolutely nooo

I've definitely thought about taking the car seats out of his car and taking them in mine so he can't even transport them anywhere so unless he finds childcare he couldn't go. Again I don't care if he goes but I definitely don't want my babies there and being 3 hours away from me in that situation

I tell him to find child care and no driving there take a Uber if decideds to leave early I wouldn’t wanna see anyone hurt
