🔥One Year Ago Today… I was waking up in a living room, on a couch I called “bed.” Still Sharing a home with my “was-band”, post-divorce. My back ached from more than just sleeping on the couch every night—I was carrying the last remnants of a life I knew no longer fit….But deep down, I knew There was more for me. One year ago, my business was closing out its lowest financial year… I was showing up less & fighting shame because I was helping others save their marriages, while I officially ended mine….But there was a spark inside me, insisting…there’s more. One year ago, I spent my 37th birthday alone—took myself out for dinner and dancing, only to pray and cry the whole drive home. Yet, a voice kept whispering…there is more. 🔥And Today? Today, my children knock on my door and come in serenading me ….as I lay in my beautiful master bedroom, in a new home filled with love and laughter.
