Sometimes it’s such a sensory overload to be a parent, that talking to an adult (especially partner) can feel super overwhelming. I zone out of conversations and get irritated if my partner is trying to have deep meaningful conversations like we used to and I’m just tired from the day. I also used to ask my partner to take baby out of the house so I could clean.
Maybe you just need a bit of “me time” - we all need it, it’s important. I’m sure if you get a bit of a break/space you’ll want to reconnect with him again after!
Probably just hormones. I would let him know maybe via written communication that you love him every day. Even if you’re not showing it how you used to. Wishing you the best!
