Birthday suggestions!

Ladies! This mama needs advice on birthday hosting ideas. Since it’s still cold out and my baby will be turning 2 what are some ideas that are toddler friendly for birthdays? We were thinking of hosting at our house but we have a big dog and he would want to just be a hyper goofball & I don’t want any kids getting knocked over lol would it be silly to do a small celebration and then an actual birthday party when it gets warmer out at a park so kids can run around and play?
