Sterilising

Do you need to sterilise cups and plates etc when weaning baby?

No, you only need to sterilise things that have formula, as it’s the formula which contains bacteria which can be harmful. Nothing else needs to be sterilised.

@Amy okay great thank you:)

I was told that if you are weaning before 6 months then yes but after 6 months then no 🤷🏼‍♀️ I think it’s just because their digestive system is stronger after 6 months

As long as they're over 6m then no. Only formula milk bottles need sterilising until you stop giving formula at around a year
