Formula oz. Before or after?

@Lauryn thanks. I’ve had a day and trying to get this boy to eat his daily intake while not interrupting his sleep is like navigating the fecking crystal maze!!!! X
@Nat I get it! My girl is 15 weeks and getting her to take 5oz is a challenge 🤦🏼♀️
@Lauryn honestly it’s a nightmare and hv/nhs website are all like the baby needs to be eating x amount. Yeah great. Get you fecking arse along here and show me cause stick a fork in me I’m done. 😂 x
@Nat it really is. My baby has dropped from 91st to below 50th centile on weight and her length has dropped too. They’ve agreed that I can’t do anything about her length but I also can’t force feed her! Even if I wake her in the night she will have half an oz and then go back to sleep so it’s pointless. She goes to sleep about 9pm and I wake her at 7am and then feed her every 3 hours throughout the day but she will just spit it all out so not sure what else I am meant to do at this point 🤷🏼♀️ They think she has a milk allergy so have prescribed milk and that has just made it worse because she doesn’t like it. Today she has had 23.3oz which is better than the 16 she had on Monday but still not enough 😩
@Lauryn mines dropped slightly the last time but not enough to have any concern. I’m expecting more next time. Ever since I increased him to 7oz. He seems to be eating less than he was at 6oz but his sleeping patterns have also changed. He’s the same. He eats less and less when I wake him up. So frustrating eh! Hopefully it all clicks for us at some point. X
If you use 7oz of water then it is 7oz. The formula being added appears to increase the volume but it’s still 7oz ☺️
