I started with pouches for tasting and as a snack I bought strawberry+banana melty puffs from Ella’s kitchen to see how she is with bit of textured stick foods and these are melt in the mouth so I find them safe and she took them very well very easily. I know they not healthy but for me it felt safe for the beginning of our journey we still on purées but as months goes by I will definitely try some “stick foods” on the way but I’m a nervous wreck so I will take it slow 😅and until 1 yrs of age food is just for fun for exploring so don’t worry if she is not having all food in the earth and if she is having purées for a few months as long as you feel confident and happy and your baby is fed only that matters
We’re just finishing our first week. We’ve had carrot purée, avocado sticks (really good for BLW as they’re so soft) cooked carrot sticks and Greek yoghurt. Making lentil and sweet potato puree tomorrow and then apple and pear puree on Sunday

@Chloe just do what works for you and when she is happy. I don't do breakfast as it feels weird giving her veg for breakfast lol
We’re currently only giving lunch… as it’s the easiest time! Though it can be anywhere between 11am and 1pm depending on naps and when she last fed. Will introduce breakfast as the next meal.
Breakfast is advised to start with so you have the whole day to look out for signs of any allergic reactions

@Chloe We started with a yoghurt & fruit puree, we’ve now introduced porridge and I’ve just picked up some weetabix today to try her with tomorrow - I darent give her anything whole yet I don’t think she’s quite ready for that. Although she did enjoy half a banana the other day I just had to help her a bit 😂
I started with broccoli homemade puree, really easy and gave around 1/2 pm whenever she's happy. I've done 2 days one veg then 3rd day introduce new then will do fruits etc. do when convenient for you I am doing it when my parent is around in case. Then I did carrot puree and yesterday she had avocado cut into sphere shape
