Help - changing Trusts pregnant
Hi, I have been working for my current Trust for over 5 years.
I just got offered a new job at a different Trust that I have accepted.
My doubts are, if I maintain continuity of service:
-will I get the same allowence of maternity pay?
-will I still keep my pay point the same as it is a change of job with in the same band? Currently band 6 at middle pay point, going into a band 6 role.

Moving trusts doesn’t affect pay points or continuity of service (as long as you don’t have more than a week unpaid break between starting the new role)

@Amy this is my understanding too, meant I finished one job in a Friday and started my current one the following Monday (would have loved to have had a little break to enjoy but was TTC and didn’t want to risk not getting the full mat leave pay)
I am 4-5 weeks pregnant only, but considering how things are, I will probably be moving into the new job by February the earliest.
