Yes babies can have basically any food you eat apart from salt and honey, just make sure it’s served appropriately so it’s not a chocking hazard
I made mine a baby friendly chilli from “What Mummy Makes”, I can send you the recipe if you like? It uses, I think, smoked paprika, rather than chilli.
@Gabrielle I just use one of the chilli con carne seasoning packs but yes you can send the recipe x
She can have it as is! I'd watch the salt content though!
I let my daughter eat spicy food from early on (not like make you cry spicy) but kids food definitely doesn’t have to be bland! And if you overcook her rice and make it slightly sticky you can make it into chunks so it’s easier to pick up :)
We just put less spice in ours so its only a little spicy and we only give spicy food every once in awhile
@Chloe those packets contain a lot of salt so I would be more wary of the salt content than the spice x
@Elena ok maybe I won’t give her any this time and I’m the future I’ll make it from scratch
Both of mine have had spicy food from 6 months (not blended though) and both had rice from then too
